i. A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $200 is required to secure your wedding date. This will be deducted from the total owing for the wedding/event date.
ii. The wedding/event date booking will not be secured until a deposit is paid. In some cases the deposit may need to be paid before the trial to ensure your wedding/event date is secured.
iii. Trial payments are due on the day of the trial by cash, or via EFT 7 days prior.
iv. Final payment of wedding/event invoice is due 7 days prior to your wedding/event date via EFT. Payment on the day can only be accepted for extra services not previously booked (eg. extra person)
v. An early morning fee of $50 per hour will apply to starts before 6am.
vi. Travel fees will apply outside the Brisbane Metro area, and will be quoted on enquiry.
vii. A public holiday surcharge of $100 may apply to bookings made for Public Holidays.
CANCELLATIONS / CHANGES:
i. Deposits are non-refundable – your deposit covers administration costs incurred with your booking.
ii. Any reductions in the booked number of people for your wedding will still need to be paid for in full, if less than 3 months’ notice is given. If your booking is for an event only, less than two weeks notice will require full payment.
iii. Please notify me of any location changes as soon as possible. This may change your quote due to travel fees, early start etc. I will send you a revised quote if this is the case.
i. I keep my brushes and kit sanitised and use only high quality prestige and professional brands. You must notify me of any allergies to any products or ingredients, you or any of the bridal party may have.
ii. You are obligated to inform me if you or anyone in your bridal party has a contagious illness/condition. This includes but is not limited to conjunctivitis, cold sores, cold, flu, measles, mumps, chicken pox, shingles, open cuts/sores, ringworm/fungal infections (above the chest). This is so that I can take precautions to protect my health and the hygiene of my brushes & kit, by using disposable brushes/sponges/gloves etc.
iii. If I am sick or contagious on the day of your trial, I will call you and reschedule to prevent you from getting sick.
iv. In the unlikely event that I am extremely sick, hospitalised or unable to work on your wedding/event due to extreme, unforseen tragic circumstances, I will do my best to organise another artist with an equivalent skill level. If I am sick, I will take precautions (mask/gloves etc).
i. Please ensure that parking is readily available at the location, otherwise parking fees will apply.
ii. If you choose not to have a trial, whilst all care will be taken, I will not be held responsible or liable in any way, if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of my service on, or after your wedding day.
iii. At the trial you will be given instructions on what is required regarding hair & makeup preparation during the weeks/months before and on the day. If this advice is not followed and any extra work is required then additional costs may be charged on the day (eg if hair is still wet and I need to do a full blow dry).
iv. I will apply makeup in a way to ensure that it lasts as long as possible. I will do my best to educate you on how to maintain your makeup to make it last, but some factors (such as high humidity and oily skin) can cause makeup to become shiny and to shift. It is your responsibility to blot and powder throughout the day to ensure that your makeup stays on. I can guide you as to which powder will look best in your photographs.
v. You also acknowledge that I may use your photographs on my website, portfolio and promotional material.
You understand that once you pay the booking fee you are legally bound by this contract. By paying a booking fee you are also confirming that you have read and understood the information provided, and that you agree to the above terms and conditions.
